How does At Home Services Network
work?
At Home Services Network matches our network of pre-screened,
licensed contractors to homeowners in need of home improvement
and home maintenance services.
After you complete the service request form, we will forward
your information to up to 3 qualified contractors. Within 2 business
days after you complete the service request form, we will e-mail
you the contractors’ contact information. The contractor(s)
will then contact you. You are free to contact them as well.
How much does At Home Services
Network cost?
This service is absolutely free to homeowners. Our network of
pre-screened, licensed contractors pays us a nominal fee for qualified
leads.
What area does At Home Services Network
cover?
We currently cover the San Francisco Bay Area, including San
Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties.
How quickly will you follow up with
me?
You and the contractor will receive an e-mail message from At
Home Services Network immediately after you submit your request
to be matched. At Home Services Network will follow up with you
within four business days after you submit your request, to ensure
that you have heard from at least one of the contractors we matched
you with.
How do you screen the contractors
in the At Home Services Network?
Our company has strong ties to the Bay Area contractor community
and has worked with many members of our network for more than
30 years. We know their work through personal experience and reputation.
In addition, when a contractor contacts us, the At Home Services
Network staff contacts the California Contractors License Board
to determine that the contractor’s license is current, that
they are bonded and insured.
How do you locate competent, experienced
contractors?
At Home Services Network contractors are referred to us by satisfied
customers and fellow contractors. Many contractors also apply
to join our network directly. We do not accept a contractor until
we have carefully checked his/her statements against information
on file at the California State License Board and have spoken
to customers and contractor peers. We do not accept contractors
with known performance problems.
How many referrals will I receive?
At Home Services Network matches you with up to three (3) qualified
contractors for your specific project.
How do you match the right contractor
to my project?
We screen basic qualifications, including license, bonding, and
insurance information. After a contractor passes this minimum
screening, we conduct a personal interview. If a contractor has
been referred by a customer or peer, we interview these referral
sources as well. In addition, we make every attempt to match you
with a contractor who is located no further than 25 miles from
your home.
What kind of follow up do you do?
After you inform us that you have chosen an At Home Services Network
contractor, we follow up within 10 business days. Your At Home
Services Network Representative will call you to find out how
the project is progressing and will contact you on a weekly basis
until the project is done. At that time, we will ask you for your
rating and comments so that we can continue to ensure that our
matches meet homeowner expectations.
Is it possible that I will not be
contacted by any of your contractors?
Please call At Home Services Network at 408-280-1234 or email
us if you have not heard from a contractor within two business
days after submitting your service request form .
Do you guarantee the work of network
contractors?
Although we are confident of the skills of At Home Services Network
referred Contractors, we do not guarantee the quality of their
work, nor do we assume liability for our referrals or for any
work that contractors do in your home. In addition, we are not
liable for property damage or claims made by contractors. For

Homeowners who are working with a contractor in our network should
communicate any concerns to your At Home Services Network representative
during regular follow up sessions, or whenever necessary. Should
we not be able to resolve the concern, we will remove the contractor
from our network.
